Key Questions:
Can you define the term 'Natural Disaster'?
Name the types of natural disasters and extreme weather forms that are affected by global warming? Explain the process.
Who are most at risk?
Can you identify ways to measure three different disasters/extreme weather forms?
Are we protected from some of the uncomfortable details when natural disasters are shown on television? (Investigate News report with Carl Azuz to find out) What does this show us about what we think we know about disasters?








Task 1
(i) There are 12 types of natural disaster disasters and extreme weather forms. Identify them all using the websites and video below!


(i) Include the different locations of each natural disaster/extreme weather form.






Task 2 (a)
Mapping Activity
(i) Create a key ie. blue = Tsunami, Red = Volcano.  This is to be done for all 12 forms of natural disasters and extreme weather forms.


(i)Using the printable link to the atlas below, label the correct countries with respect to their dominat natural disasters or extreme weather forms.
